- Biotin based products for feet or anything that is good for weak feet internal or external.
- Keratex (for hardening the feet, I dont know whether you get it in Holland, that is what it is called in UK. It is a paint on liquid for the hoof and sole and works very well) The donkeys are on wet ground a lot in the winter and the soles get soft and prone to abscesses etc.
- Vetwrap/equiwrap elastic bandages.
- Gamgee tissue (hoog absorberend, ziekenhuis kwaliteit verbandwatten)
- Non stick wound dressings non parrafin based.
- Equipalazone pain killers or similar products - I have found the herbal alternatives, devils claw, based are very effective.
- Hoof cutters (not knives) but the tool that actually cuts the horn off (like scissors)
- Hoof testers
- Has anyone got some old dog clippers and blades for trimming hair around wounds. OR I have some old Oster A5 clippers but need the blades size 15 - 30. I cant get the blades sharpened here.
- Lead ropes.
- Good sharp safety scissors.
